THESE BRACKETS ARE REQUIRED WHEN YOU REPLACE YOUR STOCK ENGINE GUARD, FOR A 1.5 DIAMETER AFTERMARKET ONE (EXAMPLE MEATHOOK ENGINE GUARD)

If you want to install our meathook crash bars you must install this bracket. Our bracket replaces the existing bracket and mounts to the gas tank area. Your stock brackets will not work because the stock crash bar is 1-1/4" and our crash bars are 1-1/2".
